Options for Total Tooth Replacement
These implant based solutions are for those patients who are facing the daunting prospect of losing most or all of their teeth or those who are already wearing dentures. From our years of experience we have put together below an excellent list of treatment options for total tooth replacement. All options are significantly better than wearing conventional full dentures.
Delayed load mechanisms
This refers to the original method of performing implant corrections whereby the implants are first placed and buried under the gum for a period of 4 to 6 months. In this 4 to 6 months the patient will wear a removable denture as a transitional prosthetic device. Once implants have fully integrated then the definitive implant prosthesis is designed and fitted.
Delayed Load Option 1
Implant Retained Overdentures (REMOVABLE) These are full dentures that are made to 'clip' onto ideally 4 implants (not 2 !) as a mechanism to reliably hold the denture in place without slipping.
Patient with no teeth - £6000 per jaw all inclusive.
Patient with existing teeth - £7000 per jaw all inclusive.
Delayed Load Option 2
Delayed Load Option 2
Profile prostheses are highly engineered implant prosthetic devices that are screwed (not glued!) onto the implants that stay rigidly in place. They are brushed like teeth, totally retrievable for professional servicing and offer superior patient comfort compared to overdentures.
Metal Reinforced Acrylic Veneer solution - £8000 per jaw inclusive
Metal Reinforced Composite Veneer solution - £10,000 per jaw inc
CAD/CAM milled EvoCeramic solution - £11000 per jaw inc
Immediate Load Mechanisms - 1Day Smile Protocol
This refers to the most technologically advanced method of performing implant corrections whereby the implants are placed and a fixed tooth transitional prosthetic device is fitted the same day.
Our method called the 1Day Smile Protocol (exclusively developed by the Evodental Team) is a technologically exhaustive version of the conventional All-On-4 and uses between 4 and 6 implants and the most advanced diagnostic, surgical and prosthetic manufacturing techniques for optimum outcomes. Once implants have fully integrated then the definitive CAD/CAM implant prosthesis is designed and fitted.
AT NO POINT IS THE PATIENT WITHOUT FIXED TEETH
1Day Smile Protocol Solutions
CAD/CAM Milled substructure and Acrylic Veneering solution - £10,000 all inclusive
CAD/CAM Milled substructure and Composite Veneering solution - £12,000 all inclusive
CAD/CAM Milled substructure and Ceramic Veneering solution - £14,000 all inclusive
No Bone Zygomatic implant Solution (for the upper jaw)
This solution is for patients who have been assessed to have no bone left in their upper jaw for implant reconstruction. Modern technology and expertise allows implants to be anchored from the cheek bones, through the sinus and into the mouth to allow the anchorage of a fixed bridge. The surgery is complex and we have a dedicated sub team just for Zygomatic reconstruction.
No Bone Zygomatic solution including a final Evoceramic bridge
Single and Multiple Tooth Replacement Procedures
When complementing a patients existing teeth with implants, the surgical and prosthetic strategies are quite different to total tooth replacement. They require different calculations, often complex, to ensure implants and existing teeth work in harmony long term.
As a general rule single tooth replacement can vary between £1800 and £2400 per tooth for implant and crown. The variation is based on the individual patient's anatomical circumstance. This can only be assessed at the clinical consultation based on what we find the situation to be at the time Implants are not just' gap fillers' but biofunctional units that work differently to normal teeth. As such an evalution of the patients bite and the opposing teeth will be necessary to assess suitability for implant therapy.
2 implants and a 3 tooth bridge -£4000
3 implants and a 5 tooth bridge - £5000
