Before any patient undergoes treatment at Evo, they need to fully understand the procedure and what happens at each stage of their journey with us.
When you arrive for your treatment appointment, you will already have attended the centre for both your free clinical assessment and your record taking appointment. Detailed clinical and technical planning beforehand is a must with our ‘3D Scan and Plan Pathway’, hence these appointments are a mandatory part of your journey with us. They enable us to gather all the information we need to plan and carry out your procedure in advance using our 3D software.
On Reset Day (the day of your surgery), you will undergo the surgical procedure under local anaesthetic. Meanwhile, our on-site Evolab3D expert craftsmen work on creating the first of your three your Evo Solution prostheses, which will be fitted on the same day of surgery.
- DeProgrammerTM. A 3D printed prosthesis fitted on Reset Day. It ‘De-Programs’ your bite, serves to protect the surgical site during healing (forcing the tongue away) and controls swelling
- 2 weeks later, you will return to have your second prosthesis fitted, the ReProgrammerTM. A 5-axis CNC machine-milled prosthesis. It is fitted 2 weeks after Reset Day. It ‘Re-Programs’ your bite even further.
- 4 weeks later, you will return to have your final prosthesis fitted, the DC1TM. A 5-axis CNC machine-milled metal-bar reinforced prosthesis. It is fitted 6 weeks after Reset Day. Machined to 5 micron accuracy. It is a very robust, anatomically designed monoblock polymer veneer (PMMA – Polymethyl methacrylate) prosthesis
It is our job to make your whole experience with us as comfortable as possible. We are committed to outstanding levels of service and clinical care, and have pain management procedures in place to ensure a worry-free experience with us.
You will not feel the surgery taking place as it is carried out under local anaesthetic. You’ll also have a dedicated Patient Coordinator to guide you through the procedure from start to finish, and our experienced team of practitioners, nurses and technicians will work together to provide you with a dental solution for life.
