Which EvoDental clinics offer single dental implants?
Single dental implant treatment is currently available at our Solihull clinic in Birmingham as part of a phased rollout.
If you are based elsewhere, you can still submit an enquiry. Our team will talk through your situation and let you know whether treatment may be suitable, as well as any upcoming availability at other clinics.
What is a single dental implant?
A single dental implant replaces an individual missing tooth using a small titanium post placed into the jaw. This acts as an artificial root, supporting a custom-made replacement tooth.
Over time, the implant integrates with the jawbone, creating a stable foundation. A new tooth is then fitted on top, designed to match the surrounding teeth in shape and function.
Unlike a traditional dental bridge, a single implant does not rely on neighbouring teeth for support. This means adjacent teeth do not need to be altered.
Are single dental implants right for me?
A single dental implant may be considered if you have lost a tooth or need one removed due to damage or disease.
You may be suitable if you have:
- A single missing tooth
- A tooth that cannot be restored with other treatments
- Healthy surrounding teeth that you would prefer not to alter
- Good general oral health
Suitability is always assessed on an individual basis. In some cases, alternative treatments may be more appropriate, and this will be explained clearly during your assessment.
Benefits of a single dental implant
A single dental implant is designed to restore function in a way that is stable and predictable.
Key benefits include:
- Fixed, secure replacement tooth that does not move
- No impact on neighbouring teeth
- Improved ability to chew and speak comfortably
- Natural appearance alongside existing teeth
- Support for the jawbone structure in the treated area
For many patients, the main benefit is being able to return to everyday activities without needing to adapt around a missing tooth.

How single tooth implants work
Single dental implant treatment is planned in stages to ensure a safe and predictable outcome.
Your journey begins by requesting a free assessment. Once you’ve enquired, our team will contact you to understand your situation and answer any initial questions.
If treatment may be suitable, you will be invited to a clinic for a detailed assessment. This includes reviewing your dental health, medical history and expectations.
3D scans are used to assess your jaw and plan implant placement. This allows our clinical team to position the implant in a way that provides stable, long-term support.
The implant is placed into the jaw during a planned procedure. In some cases, a temporary tooth may be fitted on the same day, depending on your individual circumstances.
Once healing has taken place, your final replacement tooth is fitted. This is designed to function comfortably alongside your natural teeth.
Long-term results with single dental implants
The aim of a single dental implant is to restore a functional tooth that feels stable in everyday use.
For many patients, this means being able to eat normally, speak clearly and avoid adjusting their habits around a missing tooth.
Because the implant integrates with the jawbone, it also helps maintain bone structure in the treated area.
With appropriate care, including good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups, a single dental implant can provide a long-term solution.
How much will a single dental implant cost?
The cost of a single dental implant varies depending on your individual circumstances. This includes your dental health, the condition of the surrounding bone and the complexity of treatment.
Accurate pricing is provided following a full assessment and personalised treatment plan. This ensures you understand the recommended approach and associated costs before making any decisions.
Finance options may be available to help spread the cost of treatment.
