At EvoDental, the All-on-6 dental implant procedure is streamlined into a clear, predictable process that minimises treatment time while maximising results.
The All-on-6 approach is designed to replace an entire arch of missing teeth – whether upper teeth or lower teeth – using only six implants strategically placed to support dental implants in the most effective way. This method not only improves your ability to chew and speak but also helps preserve your oral health by preventing bone loss and maintaining your jaw’s bone structure. If you want a long lasting solution to tooth loss that avoids the hassles of removable dentures, All-on-6 dental implants could be the answer.
All-on-6 dental implants represent the next evolution in full arch dental restoration, offering superior stability and numerous benefits over conventional tooth replacement options, including traditional dentures and fewer implants.
One of the key advantages of this treatment is enhanced stability. By using six dental implants instead of fewer implants, the bite forces are distributed more evenly across the jaw, reducing stress on individual implants and lowering the risk of implant failure. The six titanium implants provide a secure foundation that supports dental implants and prosthetic teeth firmly, eliminating the common problems associated with loose dentures or implant retained dentures.
Another significant benefit is immediate function. Unlike traditional dental implants that can often require multiple appointments spread over many months, All-on-6 patients using providers like EvoDental can receive temporary teeth on the same day as implant surgery. This means you can leave the dental clinic with fixed teeth that look and feel natural, avoiding the inconvenience of removable dentures during the healing period.
Bone preservation is another critical advantage. The strategically placed implants stimulate your jawbone, preventing bone resorption – a common issue with traditional dentures that accelerate bone loss. By preserving the bone structure, All-on-6 implants maintain facial aesthetics and overall oral health, helping you keep a youthful appearance.
With All-on-6 dental implants, you can regain up to 90% of your original bite strength, which allows you to enjoy all your favorite foods without restrictions. This natural eating experience is a significant improvement over traditional dentures, which often limit chewing ability.
Finally, with proper oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups, All-on-6 implants can last decades, making them a cost-effective investment in your dental health and smile.
Step 1: Comprehensive Assessment and Planning
Your dental implant expert begins with a thorough evaluation of your oral health during the initial consultation. This includes advanced 3D imaging to assess your bone density and the condition of your surrounding bone. The expert will create a personalised treatment plan that ensures you have sufficient bone density to support dental implants. With some providers, if you have significant bone loss or bone resorption, bone grafting may be recommended to build up the bone structure before implant surgery. Because of EvoDental’s expertise and our ability to place implants in advanced areas of the mouth, we don’t need to resort to bone grafts or sinus lifts, resulting in a smoother and faster patient journey.
Step 2: Surgical Placement and Immediate Temporary Teeth
During a single oral surgery appointment, six titanium implants are precisely positioned in your jawbone. The surgical placement of six implants is designed to maximise support for the entire arch while minimising the number of implants required. In most cases, you will leave the dental practice with temporary teeth attached to your new implants on the same day, allowing you to enjoy fixed teeth immediately.
Step 3: Healing and Integration
Over the next 3-4 months, the implants fuse with the surrounding bone in a process called osseointegration. This healing process is crucial for the long-term success of the implants, as it ensures the titanium implants become securely anchored in the bone. During this period, maintaining good oral hygiene and following your dental professional’s care instructions are essential to prevent implant failure and gum disease.
Step 4: Final Restoration
Once the healing period is complete and the implants are fully integrated, your dental professional will replace the temporary teeth with your permanent prosthetic teeth. These replacement teeth are custom-designed to match your natural-looking smile and provide optimal function. The result is a complete smile makeover that restores your dental health and confidence.

Dental treatments like All-on-6 help those people with failing teeth to regain a confident, healthy smile.
Our unique clinics and in-house labs allow us to design, produce, and fit a completely bespoke, screw-retained prosthetic all on the same day, giving you a new smile in a day.
When you arrive at EvoDental at 8am on the day of your treatment, you'll be taken to your own private patient suite. Afterwards, you'll move to your treatment room, where sedation is administered and the procedure takes place. Any remaining teeth will be extracted, and your new implants will be placed. Each jaw takes around 2 hours.
Afterwards, you'll return to your patient suite and will be able to recover and relax. We'll do everything to make you feel comfortable and at home. During this time, our on-site lab team will be finalising and producing your bespoke prosthetic.
In the late afternoon, your new prosthetic will be placed. You'll be able to leave that same day with your new smile, returning a few weeks later for your final set.
All-on-6 dental implants offer distinct advantages over traditional tooth replacement methods and even other implant solutions like All-on-4 or single and sectional dental implants.
First, All-on-6 is regarded as superior to traditional dentures. Unlike removable dentures that can slip, cause sore spots, and require adhesives or overnight removal, All-on-6 provides fixed teeth that remain firmly in place, giving you the comfort and confidence of natural teeth.
Compared to All-on-4, which uses four implants, the All-on-6 approach distributes bite forces across six implants. This reduces the risk of implant failure and provides enhanced long-term stability, especially for patients with higher bite forces or significant bone loss.
Importantly, All-on-6 can often help to prevent further bone loss. Traditional dentures accelerate bone resorption because they do not stimulate the jawbone. In contrast, titanium implants can stimulate the bone, preserving your bone density and maintaining your facial support and overall oral health.
All-on-6 dental implants represent a significant but worthwhile investment in your long-term dental health and quality of life.
With most providers, the cost for a single arch treatment typically ranges from £24,000 to £31,000. EvoDental’s pricing starts at £13,800 for a single jaw. For those seeking a complete smile transformation, both upper and lower arches can be treated. Many dental practices offer flexible financing options to make this advanced implant treatment accessible.
When considering the long-term value, All-on-6 implants often cost less per year than the ongoing expenses associated with traditional dentures, adhesives, and frequent adjustments. With proper care, these implants can last 25 years or more, making them a durable and cost-effective solution.
All-on-6 dental implants are suitable for many patients experiencing significant tooth loss, but candidacy depends on several factors.
Ideal candidates include patients with most or all missing teeth in one or both arches, those with enough bone density to support six implants, or individuals willing to undergo bone grafting if needed. Patients seeking a permanent alternative to removable dentures and those committed to maintaining good oral hygiene are excellent candidates. Additionally, candidates should be in good overall health and suitable for oral surgery.
Many of EvoDental’s patients have been told that they lack the required amount of bone for implants. Thanks to our team’s expertise, we can still help those who may have been told this.
During your initial consultation, your dental implant expert will evaluate your bone structure, history of gum disease, and overall oral health to determine if All-on-6 is right for you. This personalised assessment ensures the best possible outcome for your implant treatment.

With proper oral hygiene and regular dental visits, All-on-6 implants can last 25 years or more. The titanium implants themselves can last a lifetime, while the prosthetic teeth may need replacement after 15-20 years. This is very dependent on each individual case however, and the best way to get an answer to this is to speak with an expert.
Yes! Unlike traditional dentures, All-on-6 implants restore nearly full bite strength, allowing you to eat most foods comfortably. During the initial healing period, a soft diet is recommended.
If you have significant bone loss, many dentists will advise that bone grafting procedures are often the best way to create sufficient bone density to support dental implants. Your dental professional will assess this during your initial consultation. EvoDental’s experts can help those who have been told they don’t have enough bone for implants, negating the need for bone grafting.
Maintaining good oral hygiene is essential. This includes regular brushing, flossing with special tools, and professional cleanings. Your dental practice will provide detailed care instructions tailored to your needs.
All-on-6 provides fixed teeth that don’t require removal, offering superior stability and function compared to implant-retained dentures, which are still removable.
